SLP hands down. It works and is easy to brush off in deep snow. Oh ya, and you can get in a reasonable amount of time. I tried for a couple months to get the factory mod intake and had no luck. I think the mod intake would work as good or better if you can get one. Someone please chime in if you have had any luck getting all the parts to complete a factory mod intake.

C3 composites is taking it to a whole new level. They should be posting it any time. Carbon fiber airbox, gauge pod all in one . Supposed to be crazy.

This sounds interesting. Not sure it will be worth the price it is going to cost for a CF air box. hiherthanu, have you looked into this one? http://www.jcscustomvents.com/catalog/i74.html http://www.jcscustomvents.com/catalog/i73.html

I am torn between this and SLP. I like the slp because it is always taking in outside air but does have a greater potential for clogging up. The JC will draw from under the hood but get fresh air through the pod. However when the vet on top of the pod fills with snow there is still plenty of air it can get under the hood. Fresh air would be better but it beats bogging and getting stuck or having to turn out.
