Best drive belt for our torque monters

I've had good luck with the Carlisle XS belt. I'll let you know when it wears out but I've got 1-1/2 seasons on it and it still looks new. Mileage.... ?? some of my best riding days I might have put on 30 miles, but rode for 6-7 hours boondocking.

The belt is only as good as your clutch/gear/vent setup.

Ditto....

3211115 only for me 1500 miles and counting for me since i put the last one on

I ran the Polaris 1115 belt on my 9. Easily get two seasons from them.

X2 on the 1115 belt, that thing is bullet proof

But, IMO, if you leave it on past 800 of so miles, you start to loose performance.
The belt is going to loose rubber and mass no matter how you look at it, so after you've run it long enough, the tolerance and measurements are not going to be the same as a new or slightly used belt affecting belt deflection, clutch alignment and performance and most importantly....clutch heat.

I'll bet if people with 1000+ miles on their belts would pull a hill with the old belt.......come down and put a new one on and climbed the same hill, they would notice a HUGE difference in performance....and again the biggy, clutch heat.

I know its a $175 belt, but that is the instrument that get the power from your motor to your track!!!

Ride it til it blows and take a risk of gernading your crank or spend a bit of coin once a year when you do your maintenance and get top performance out of your sled.

my .02cts

Any huge diference between the 1111 and the 1115 just that there is a guy here that dosnt have his 900 anymore and has two of the 1111 brand new for $40 or should i just keep running the 1115 being that my dealer here charges $240 for the 1115

Can't go wrong with either Carlisle Ultimax XS or the 1115. Had great luck with both. When my clutch ripped off my crank @ 80 mph I had the Carlisle Ultimax XS on with around 900 miles on it surprised there was no damage to it. Was lucky was still under warranty and got a new engine with the updated crank. both of those 2 are bullet proof IMO. Just that the Carlisle is Not as stiff. Since the new engine though been running the 1115 since already shimmed for it. Might have to go back to the carlisle as it is 90 for me compared to 220 for the 1115. Haven't tried the 1111.

080 belt lasted less than 200 miles, Carlisle XS809 lasted 600 miles

1115 belt has been on my sled for 4 years and is still good.

There was your problem, 803 is a doo belt, the correct one for ours is 809. I do miss the 080 belt a bit as it was great for top end but do not miss the belt exploding. That was before the slp torque/push arms though, wonder if it will make a difference with the 080 now that I have the arms? Do not want to risk exploding belts though.

Oops, looks like my problem was I hit the wrong key...lol

I had push and torque arm on and 080 only last 1 ride and sometimes not even that. If you did make it back you had to install a new one before going out again or risk it exploding on the next ride.

I have compfusion and no torque arm now with 1115 belt.

Yeah figured was just a typo. I do like the longevity of the 115 but not the stiff material that it is.

The 115 belt is the way to go. BTW I have 2 like new 115 belts for sale. $100 each. I bought them when I was trying to get my 975 running. I never did have less than 20 miles on one. 0 on the other it was my spare. PM me
