Best Crossover/Small Mountain Sled?

Does anyone know how much the 2009 Crossfire 800 and Crossfire 800 Sno Pro weigh? The 1000? I've enjoyed my 2004 Switchback 700 and like the idea of staying with a crossover or shorter track length mountain sled since I only make it out West 1-2 trips per year. I'm disappointed there are so few 141-146" track length offerings out there for mountain and crossover sleds. I'm also considering a 800 Shift RMK 146 or a 600 e-tec/800 Summit Everest 146, but don't want a 2.25" lug.

we just picked my dad up a 2009 CF8 Sno Pro and put a 141" Power Claw on it. Awesome little sled! Great snappy power and lots of fun to through around! Highly recommended.

If you got the money get the 800 Assault or get a 800 Shift 144"! Would this happen to be ROOKIE! Have fun but you should just get a 155"

Rode the prototype crossfire last year with the 1.5" cobra track, it worked great and was very light, I believe the Crossfire lost over 40# in 09 basically it is now a 141 x1.5 M sled with the wider front end and a slightly larger gas tank (3/4 of a gallon) I was riding a 1000 and it felt light and nimble and climbed well in 2' or so of fresh snow. rode the M8 at the same time, I am more into hill climbing so got the M8. The crossfire worked good enough that I considered it. Get a snopro or you only get a 1.25" track and no adjustable handle bar riser. These are very nice if you do much off trail riding.

Thanks for the advice. It may come down to which sled I can find the best deal on in the coming months. I wish the 09 Crossfire and 09 Shift RMK 144 came out in 2008. There would probably be plenty on the used market.

Just bought a crossfire 800 and like the fact it's on the m chassis. Pretty versitile sled. I'm putting a 153 powerclaw on though, needs it in the steep and deep. Good sled so far, and the front a-arms are a little stronger than the mountain version, as are the rear skids.
