best cover for sled deck

I am coming out to colorado from michigan on a sled deck and need a cover. What is better poo canvas, polyester, or aftermarket. Thanks

We've got Polaris canvas ones and they're just ok. Granted they take a beating up on a deck or trailer but after each season they go to a tarp shop for various rips and tears. Kind of disappointing for what they cost but it's just the price of keeping a machine cleaner than riding dirty without any cover.

I have one of the Polaris "premium" covers for my 2017 Axys and I am not impressed at all. It says it is polyester but it feels more like plastic. Gets very stiff when it is cold out, almost feels like it would break. Have the "premium" cover for my 2015 Pro and I like the material much better. Far better quality of cover. That's why I ordered the "premium" for my 2017. Just my $.02

It feels like like plastic because it is. Polyester is a fancy term for plastic.

Thanks, may just end up with a poo canvas one cause I will likely only every use it once. I usually always trailer in an enclosed. But for this trip I am strapped to a deck.

I've used the Poo canvas cover for years on an open trailer. They fit/work great. I've never had one tear in all the years I've used them.
The hook lines are a bit of a pita, but get them snug, and the dash strap tight, she'll serve you well.

Why cover on the deck? They really dont get dirty up there. If needed, the skinz cover is pretty awesome. Had mine since 2012 and used on 4 different sleds.

Because the amount of salt put on any and all roads in the Great Lake states is absolutely obnoxious. I just drove from Wisconsin to Wyoming and the Wisconsin and Minnesota roads are white with dried salt. On dry days you drive through a salt cloud, on wet days I bet the spray is 60 feet high at interstate speeds.

This! The salt trucks are ruthless. The amount of salt dumped in the last week has been staggering. I'm so over living here.

If the windshield of your truck is getting dirty then so is your sled on the deck.

This is absolutely true. The mist goes EVERYWHERE, even inside your air intake, and into the engine . . . eventually. Not to mention the corrosive affect the chemicals have on everything that is aluminum on the sled.
