Best boots????

got hmks and like them a lot, i came from riding with snowboard boots thought, so i liked them because of the stiffer setup if you want more of a hiking/hunting boot. get the klim adrenalines. my roomate and my dad have them and they both love them. and you can drive your truck wearing them(not the best idea, but you can do it better then the hmks)

Save your money, buy snowboarding boots. You can buy 3 for the price of 1 snowmobile boot. Just as good or better quality, and you'll have a dry pair every time you go out.

If you would like a taller boot, you might want to take a look at the new Sorel Alphatrack. I purchased a pair one year ago and have not had a hint of wetness. They seem to be very well built, they still look and act like new. About $160.00

I've used both HMK Boa's and Klim Adrenaline Boots. I liked the HMK's, but prefer the Klim adrenaline. I got warm in the HMK's, but the Klims are perfect. I never got wet with either one. If you go with HMK's there's a little bit of learning curve with them because they are way stiffer then a normal boot FYI.

I haven't tried all the boots, but I can tell you that my Klim boots have been awesome. someone said to buy three pairs of cheaper boots for the price of one. The Klims are tough, waterproof, comfortable and just work well. The only problem I had was that my boards tore them up from kicking snow out. Better Boards fixed that problem and saved on the boots a little.

For snowmobile patrol I wear Rocky Bizzard Stalker. They are warm and very comfortable, more like a good hunting boot. I have had mine for three years now and are still in good condition. I wear mine all day 4-5 days a week December thru March. They do require an occational coat of spray silicone to maintain its water proof quality. If you require a stiff boot for ankle support you will need to look at a different boot but these are excellent for durability and comfort for about $110.

i really appreciate everyones input i hate choices i always end up with the chiity ones trust me already did that. I am looking for something waterproof so when its +30 during the day my feet arent sweating and snow isnt melting into the boot so then at night when it drops to +or- 0 my feet arent freezing my boots now are good but they are not quite waterproof or breathable.. Thanks everyone

ankle

if y have ankle probs like me i went with the hmk proboa to brace them up tight. down fall or should i say fall down was when i tried to carve a 8 foot deep little sugar pocket in the trees and lost the sled but it locked my boot in the stiurripand i couldnt get up cause there was no bottom. my buddy thought it was real funny, good thing he was there

best boots

Check out on Ebay the old millitary boots. The ones with the valves are the best. You can be in water and your feet will still be warm the rest of the day. They are heavy but, if your looking for cheap warm boots check them out.

LOVE my KLIM Adrenaline Boots. I used to ride with snowboard boots, but ever since I bought the KLIM Adrenaline, I haven't looked back.

Klim Adrenalines! Love them! Bought some of the new Klim arctic gtx for those really cold days...
