Best Big Bore

What is the best big bore bolt on kit for the m7 or m-series. Theres so many diffrent ones so im also just trying to help people who might wana bore there sleds, so list any good bore projects youve done. But primarily for the m7 because that is what i would like to build. Whats cheap? Reliable? Not reliable?crap? Great? Anything really.
Thanks.

RKT works realy well in our area. Have three with slp twins and one with the stock pipe. None have failed in 2500 miles. All running the 14.9 heads at 6000-10000 with premium fuel only. The one with the stock pipe runs no fuel controler the other three use a boondocker box.

My advice would be to find one that uses cat oem pistons. such as RKT or Racinstation. most probably do these days and they have been proven for several years now. one selling point that i look at is how easy it is to contact the supplier. makes life easy

Yes, cast pistons!!!!! If you have a kit that uses Wisecos make sure your clearances are correct and the have PROPER break in. Set up right these kits just flat rip and they are reliable.

engine tech 900.. good engine, lots of power and torque when set up right! the 900 kit uses cast sleeves and cast OEM style pistons, i melted it down the other week but was my fault, not the engines. leaned er down a little to much..woops lol

RKT 8 bigbore is SOLID. I am VERY happy with the RKT BB in my M7. Currently running stock pipe, skinz super q can and NO fuel control. Have 2 sets of domes, 13-1 for below 5k and 14-1 for 5k+. Ran very well out west, wailed the he!! out of it in the pow and ran like a frickin champ. Do some searches and you'll see the same builders and happy customers!!

I would not buy the "CHEAPEST" rather than that go with a quality least expensive kit. Cheaper is not always better. You get what ya pay for. Just mho.

I'm running a speedwerx and have been for 3 seasons now got approx 1500 miles on it and it's been great. Running their pipe and y, v-force, and a boondocker rips hard will hang with a stock 1000 easy. Hard on fuel but who does up a sled for mileage???

x2 on ET. Have had great luck with mine. Strong kit and has been a pull and go sled.

IMO stay away from bmp.i had one on my 05 m7 and the thing was crap!! one day it would pull your arms off the next day you couldn`t drive it off the trailor. the porting on my looked like someone chewed on it.

Having ridden this and watched it perform last week, this motor is no joke - very, very stout.

I'll declare on RKTek all day long!:beer;

Go ahead and do it.

Another vote for RKT. It made my M7 a whole different sled. Ive never been beat by anything stock. Runs strong.

I have some big bore cylinders and some other stuff you would need for a m7 to 800 I would get rid of pretty cheap, shoot me a pm if your interested.
