I have done searching on this and found some different answers so thought I'd see what the consensus is.

Got a 12 300XC and need the best pipe for winter and will need a carbon guard for it to build a shield for snow. Who makes the best pipe and carbon guards??

In my opinion, (in order)

1. Scalvini but very $$$$
2. Pro-Circuit Platnum 2
3. FMF Gnarly

I second these two ^. I've only ridden my 300 with the stock pipe, so my opinion is just research based so far...

> The Scalvini is supposed to boost power throughout the entire RPM range, but is very pricey
> The Pro-Circuit Platinum 2 supposedly boosts top end power and increases over rev, with no reduction in bottom or mid range power
> The FMF Gnarly boosts low end, but from what I've read it drops off quickly up top

I will be running the Pro-Circuit Platinum 2 this winter, as I felt that I'd want more power in the mid-top of the rev range.

Yup, the best bang for the buck is going to be the pro circut though. If you're doing a bb, porting, ignition, reeds and whatnot the Scalavini will give you a little more bottom. On a stockish motor the PC will give you a good boost on top.

Does anyone have any experience with the Bills pipe/silencer combo on the 300's? Guys on KTM talk seem to love it and say it produces quite noticeable top end gains with more over-rev then the PC2.

cant go wrong with the Scalvini pipe and silencer, just dont crush it .piece of art

My pro circut cracked as well, and no service....

My FMF phatty was the same and no service.... Now I had a procircuit that had a pin hole pretty early on in buying it and they did fix that but most likely that was because it was within a month of buying it from the dealership and they leaned on them a little.

Mine unfortunately was a 4 inch crack.. Still have may try to repair but gave me an excuse to try a cpc
