People will just vote for the sled they ride. Last year I would have said the Rmk was probably the best backcountry sled. This year, with the changes to the Cat and how well it works that is what I would vote for.

Personally, I don't think there is a "best." Ride a XM, a Pro Climb, and a Pro RMK...then buy what sled you like best. Don't let an internet forum spend your money for you.

Radio Flyer! Superfast, reliable, never had a motor blow while riding it, always brings a smile to your face. How well it climbs depends on the rider. the metal rails never need hifax's, super low cost of ownership. Great sled!

Yamaha srx 120. Power to weight is incredible. If the rider gets it stuck it magically gets itself unstuck.

Get the brand of sled that you will get the best dealer support at, if its neutral

Poo, cat and the new doo are all great sleds this year i really dont think you can go wrong i 2013 inless you end up on a yamaha and expect to flick around like one of the other three

For my money, I would go with the one that my friends ride so we are all familiar with the same issues, tips, tricks, and mods and that comes from the dealer with the best, most reliable service. Right now, for me, that's Polaris. They are all great sleds and you really can't go wrong. There are fans and haters of every brand on this forum. There is no such thing as an unbiased opinion.

Buy one, have fun and don't look back!!
