Best 151" track on a ZX

I have a 2001 Summit 144 that i'm going to do a skid setback on this summer and make it a 151. I'm just wondering what track people have had good luck with on this sled. I think i'm going to keep a 15 wide because i don't know if a 16 will work or not

call usa tracks they have a great camo 151 with extensions on sale right now for 499.00 complete....there ad is on this site.........

Best way to keep it fun is to go with a 144 X 16. way less push in the corners.

I did a 16 x151 x 2 on my old 2002 zx. Kinda tight but went in without having to modify anything. Some of the guys were grinding the heads on some of the bolts by the front driver but I just stuffed mine in.
I made extensions from 3" x 1/4" plate aluminium. You can get a set from Tracks Usa for pretty cheap if you are not the fabricator type.

Don't worry about the tunnel extension. Don't need it. Trim off the flap. You can see the molding mark for a non-summit flap, just trim to that line. It also makes a cool rooster tail while running down a packed trail.

Sorry, when I got a new computer, I deleted all my old pictures of the 144 going to 151 x 16.

The track I used was from an 05 summit rev.

If i do a skid setback, do i need a kit for that? Will i still need extensions or can i eat up the extra track with a big wheel kit or something??

You will not need the extensions if you do a set back. 2002 zx 151 used a 2001 144 skid and set it back.

2002 had a small Drop and Roll compared to 2001 so the skid set back is a good thing for your 01.

All you are gonna need is a 151 track and some labor.
