Bent Bulkhead???

T
So I wacked a big tree pretty hard last weekend and thought my season was over. But from what I could tell after it was out of the tree well, my upper a-arm was a little tweaked and thats all I could see. The sled runs straight going down the trail. So I took my can off yesterday and the flat piece of alum. between the can and the recoil is bent pretty bad. Is that part of the main bulkhead or is it a seperate piece?

My buddies rev has been bent like that for at least 2 years, it doesn't bother him. It's a good thing, cause I'm sure it's not cheap to fix.

I was hit on the trail head on by a thirteen year old kid. it bent my bulkhead in that same area. bent mine so bad that there was no room for the can and pushed side panel open. pushed against brake rotor too. it was an easy total the adjuster said

You have bent the flying nun. I have a arrticle at home here with step by step instructions. I'll see if I can scan the article and some how send it to you. If you have access to a fax, that would be better. The guy in the article said that it wasn't too bad of a fix as long as you have patience and time. I think the part was around $300 bucks or so. Gimme a shout back on the PM's and I'll see what I can do.
