This season im going to start running a 3211115 belt. I have one already but need a spare. Anyone know where you can get a deal on one instead of paying $170.00! Ive been watching Ebay but no luck. Also what are everyones thoughts on the 3211122 belt? And are there any other brand belts that are good but cheaper that interchange with this belt. I tried to find a interchange chart on line but no luck. Thanks guys!

Just my $0.02. You get what you pay for when your buying belts. Pay the 170.00 - 200.00 and have the confidence of a new belt on the clutches........or spend 60.00 on a Dayco or the like and be towed home.

I don't actually remember the last time I've shredded a OEM belt....I have changed them once worn out of spec, but haven't broken one in an awfully long time.

Spend the money man............you'll be sorry you didn't.

Keep looking on ebay. Every now and then you can find a really good deal on a brand new 115 belt but thats mostly in the off season, you also can find some good deals on take off belts for spares with very little miles on.

If you do not want to go the OEM route, I have been using the Gates Extreme AD or PU 44x4640 on my 900's and have not had an issue. They are available from Pats Small Engine Plus for about $55 plus shipping. Here is what the site says about the belts
ablbull1.gif
A match for the hottest, fastest sleds on the track or the trail
ablbull1.gif
Tests show Xtreme belts last up to 70% longer than other high-performance belts

Kevlar tensile cords are used in construction for extra-long wear and dependability
ablbull1.gif
Aramid elastomer under-cords provide minimal dusting and long-term flex life
ablbull1.gif
Aramid tensile cords deliver a consistent length with minimal belt shrinkage and minimal length adjustments
ablbull1.gif
Flexweave over-cord gives superior adhesion and crack resistance

All this adds up to a consistent fit for less power loss, better ride control and smooth operation

Pats is located just north of Minneapolis MN. The website is not the easiest to navigate so here is the link to the Gates Extreme section.

Another place to get them is Manufacturers Supply
