BELTS

if your sled has the 1115 belt on it you will have to go with that or reshim your clutch. If it has the 080 on it you can use the ultimax xs-809. There are XS-809 belts for $79 plus shipping on ebay.

What is the full number on the 080 belt? Is it 3211080?

I have the 080 belt on right now and when I tried using the xs809 it was too wide. I think the xs809 is the same width as the 115, not the 080

it didn't used to be but it's been a few years so maybe they updated it. I know I never had to shim for it but when I bought the 1115 belt I had to have the clutch shimmed.

Isn't the 1115 belt a little wider? Anyone know about how much.

Yes, the 1115 is wider, If you are running the 080 or any other belt you will have to have your primary shimmed to run the 1115. You might also need to increase your weights by 2 grams. There was a note about the 1115 requiring heavier weights somewhere. I will try to find it and post a link.

I was wrong. After writing my post i started thinking and decided to re-check the calisle belt. In my hurry on the trail I had failed to adjust the deflection so the new belt was just too tight. I adjusted the deflection to about 1-1/4" and it seems good now. Now I just hope I didnt burn the carlisle too bad by not having the clutch adjusted.
