We rode in 3 feet of powder today. I got stuck of course and my track locked up due to the snow packing up in the tunnel. After digging snow out of the track and tunnel, I realized I burnt a flat spot on the belt. It made me sick to think of handing over $150 to a dealer for a new belt. Does anyone have any good ideas for belts for a 08 Skidoo xp? Does anyone know about any aftermarket belts that work and where to get one? Help would be appreciated.

The dealer you bought the sled from should bend to $120.
I have found them for a $100 shipped to my house on line but want to support my shop. They are still making a good profit and there is no reason to get bent over when you still need a new rear knobby for the dirt bike and and $30 gallon for the oil and so on and so on!!!!! The sports we partipate in are expensive, but come on don't be their sucker. Simply tell them you can buy the correct belt shipped to your house for $100 and ask them for their best price. Or, go find that deal that is out there and buy from them. It's a free country!!

Local try Frank May north of Ogden (I do not know your location in Utah) they are great to work with.
Do a search there was some dicussion on belts, Napa has one, Dayco ect. It was a toss up and imo stick with the Doo 377.
