What would be the cause to my belts blowing to pieces not burning up but flying apart. One guy I was riding with said the my secondary mite not be corritly alined. this is on a 2002 summit x 800
I had the same problem and it was the rollers in the primary. The bushing were bad causing the clutch to not work proberly and then blow the belt. Something to check.
A lot of the guys I ride with have been running the Dayco belts on our RMKS and this is the first time we had one of them blow. He also blew a skidoo belt earlier this year, but we figured it was due to the belt sitting out on the sled and not being used in three years.
So is there any way to adjust the secondary cluch to the primary to make them be in a straight line because you can see that if you stand behind it and look at the cluches with the belt on you can till the secondary needs to come out some
