Is there a tool out there that will help make it easier to change the drive belt on my 04 1M??

nope, shouldnt be much of a problem, put your parking break on, twist the secondary backwards to compress the spring, pull the top of the belt towards you and it should jump off the secondary pretty easily.
I'm sure I'm telling you something you already know nonetheless this is pretty much the only way to do it

Just thought there might be an easier way. I guess I just got to keep eatin my wheaties!!! 
I am just use to my old 600 RMK. Didn't take much effort to change that one. Just found myself gruntin a little with this 900.

No there is no tool. Just do what meatman says and she should come right off. The tighter you have the spring the harder it going to be to get off.
