Was just wondering if the 046 belt work run on the 06 m7. Have access to a bunch of them and was wondering if anyone knew the difference from the stock belt.

If I remember correctly the 046 is made for use with the 10.4" secondary clutch that came on the M from 2007 on. If you still have the original 10" clutch on the M7 the 046 won't work (well). You can upgrade your secondary to a 10.4" for a couple hundred bucks. Improves the low end on them. If you've got access to cheap belts you may be money ahead to do this and will have a little better running sled to boot.
Yeah, the 10.4 secondary would be required to run the 046 belt. One option if you have access to a bunch of 046 belts is to check with your dealer. I know I would swap new 036 belts for new 046 belts all day long.
