Belt problem (not xp) :P

so i bought a new ultimax xs, got jewed on christmas day and had to pay 150, maybe it was out of anger, or i just wanted to ride, but i jsut put it on and went, (washed it first). i did give the belt a proper break in.. but its not sitting up in my secondary, i dont get it, i looked at it for like ten minutes and couldnt figure out how to change it.. i figure i have the year warrenty. but i need to know how you get the belt to sit the right height in the secondary. the double cogs are jsut about 2-3mm over the secondary. but the cord line is in, like ya, way in,...

any input is good with me. i need to know how to fix it for my next belt, i am guessing this belt is screwed.

Im not sure if they run the same secondary as the 800s but there should be 3 bolts and a wedge lookin thing on the very outside of your clutch. just loosen tht bolts and turn the wedge acordingly to squeeze yout clutch sheeves together.

Are you sure its the belt? If the cogs are out and the cord is in, how high are you planning on running it? with out sitting down a little ways in the secondary, there won't be any friction on the belt in the sheaves. Are you sure its the right belt? I am listing the XS803 for it. Also, I have never seen it priced that high (can get it for $109). You don't need to run the XS on that sled, you can run the regular Ultimax ($69.95) p/n 4352-33. I have always run Dayco belts, they have always been good to me. They are built to spec and are much better than stock belts with the exception of some of the yammy belts which are equal or better in a few cases IMO.

i am running the proper belt, i am not going to check, but i was the one that looked at it all after, and its right, and my sled blows every other belt, well i ahvnt ran a regular skidoo belt, btu i have ran dayco hpx and have ahd no luck with them.
