Belt Life

So after the new clutch is on went out on a ride snapped a belt in half. Now I don't blame this on clutch I believe I had to with considerable track speed upon landing a wheelie/jump. But I kind of believe this could have been prevented. My dealer was saying I should try a 7 tooth driver. But im also wondering about the stage 1 or 2 tcl delete kit maybe even stage 3 if money is right with the 7 tooth driver and the stage 3 I would be confused if my sled continued to eat belts.

Thought/sopinions/suggestions?

Your belt more then likely contacted the cheese grater guard then snapped!!!
I have only broke belts this way on my 1100t , get the newer one piece one and there is not a spot for the top of your belt to catch on

something is off. I don't think you'll snap a belt like that. have you taken any horizontal and vertical parallelism measurements? A better clutch(es) won't fix a dam thing if the sled is put together poorly with cheap parts. that's what all these poor guys are going to find out. I personally have the EVO TCL delete kit and this is something that will give you the ability to adjust a poorly assembled sled and keep everything where it needs to be. combine that with the OSP engine snubber and you have a good old school set up that adds strength and adjustability. Already getting reports from Turbie, his brother, and a few other mountain guys with great preliminary testing results from documented belt eaters. The kit combined with the proper setup of parallelism measurements is a killer setup. I know I can't wait to try mine.

After further inspection of my broken belt I had noticed the top lugs on the belt had missing chunks which leads me to believe that the belt cover had something to do with my exploding belt. My dealer has the new cover for the 1100 so will be trying next weekend along with the new dayco xtx 5045 belts. Hope this helps my issue

All I have for mods are evo cold air rov and straight pipe. Age of the belt is unsure was broken in on the old clutch I know for sure so that could have Pre screwed it
