For alot of us new to belt drives (new858) and having read about szhat falling off or getting dropped in the belly pan then ending up in the belt Drive system and causing total chaos usually resulting in big $$$$$$ I may have come up with a simple solution although not 100% guaranteed to stop stuff I think it will catch most anything that gets close !!?? What do ya think ?

They are in place with RTV then a screw thru the hole in the middle and heat tape over that , each magnet will pickup 150 lbs don't get them to close when holding them they will draw blood oh and an added benefit they repel when close to trees 😎😎 man oh man it needs to snow 😭😭

Which I am very intune with all the noises etc a sled makes , still springs can break without warning even though mine have the RTV treatment better safe than sorry a $3 spring can sure fug up a belt Drive and your ride !

Probably not a bad spot, you don't want them near the toe hold/close out or the drive shaft as that will mess with your speed pickup sensor

I think I would rather change out the exhaust springs to some aftermarket ones with RTV to be pro-active rather than tape a bunch of magnets in my belly pan.

A few sleds have lost upper bearing housing on belt drive. Apparently is caused by dry powder in very cold weather to build up on lower gear causing belt to get tighter. This puts pressure on upper bearing housing. Fix could be to close off vents or install screen to prevent dry snow from entering venting by right foot area.

3 isn't a bunch and the springs are on order when you have to drive 7 hours one way to the dealer $6 for magnets isn't such a big deal to catch crap that could end up in their , you can replace every spring 500 flippin times won't help when they are left in the belly pan at the factory !! One just never knows now do they ! And my factory springs are RTV'd

Mother nature has the fix for us. No dry powder.
