Belt drive temp stock can

This is probably far fetched but is a stock can hotter than an aftermarket can? Just curious if the belt drive would last longer with cooler temps ? I'm assuming a aftermarket can would run cooler and farther from belt drive. The temps probably won't be enough to make a difference. How many miles will are belt last and what is the cost for a new belt? Also if you add bogey wheels on a pro will it run cooler like a base rmk and will hifaax last longer? It's summer to much thinking!!!!!

Adding bogey wheels won't impact cooling but will reduce some hifax wear. The standard RMK has the addition of a front heat exchanger that is not on the PRO. That is why they run a bit cooler.

Polaris says the Quick Drive belt will last 2,000 PLUS.... i think it will go way longer then 2,000 (if not a boosted sled) the belt is 185$
So not so bad! I believe the belt will get most of the heat from the exhaust and temp heat, becaus its not like a clutch is depressing on it. my 0.002

Went riding last year with a friend that had an assault with a can and I had my pro with a stock suitcase. We noticed that yes there was more heat on aftermarket when putting a hand on it. But yes aftermarket is smaller and can be ceramic coated to help reduce heat. However if a person is really concerned with heat like I am haha I just bought a good vent kit and I wrapped my can in turbo tape that I picked up at a local truck performance store.
