Belt Drive In A Yamaha

Has anyone tried a belt drive in these Yamaha turbos ?

there was one awhile ago for sale in the classifieds was a apex with a crazy mtn extreem belt drive only one i have seen.

There's been a few around. They didn't like much over the 200 HP mark though.I'd love to see more belt drives though ,think how easy track changes would be

Kieth Wood from Woodys performance had one on his RX1 on the asphalt with well over 400 hp and never had a problem with it

I would LOVE a belt drive 15lbs weight savings at least, quick track changes, etc but your right I cannot live without reverse. If the belt drive dropped 150lbs from the sled then I may consider not having reverse LOL

Plus they seem to expensive but I am naive on the cost to produce custom gearing/belt.
