Hey just woundering how tight or lose you're running you're belt? And the proper way and adjustment for deflection. Thanx.
Put the sled on a stand and set it so the track just creeps at idle. Any more you will have the reverse likely not work. And when I say creeping I mean creeping slowly.
Why would the reverse not work? I have mine in the shop right now because it wont engage into reverse, and I was told it was a clutching issue. Took all the shims out of the secondary and it still wont engage into reverse, but you take the belt off and it will engage into reverse.
If the deflection is to tight then there is pressure on the gear splines in the chaincase that won't allow the gear to slide easily. Put you sled up on the stand and set the deflection that way. Track should just barely creep at idle on the stand.

I have all the deflection washers off, and I dont get any creep and it still is doing it. I cant adjust the belt any lower into the secondary so I dont know what is going on.
