Belly Pan Protector on Apex

Does anyone else have problems with their protector coming loose? First, I used the useless nuts they send. Well, that didn't last too long. Next, I tried jack nuts. The idea is great, but they're too short to really "mushroom" out to grab. Does anyone have a better solution to this problem? Or is there a better nut out there to use.

Get some steel rivet nuts. They grab the aluminum better than the aluminum nuts that come with the skid plate.

I ended up using a bolt with nylon nut - a little tricky to get in, but now they are solid, no issues. I also have cut out the pan to allow for my "vented" oil access panel so I can change the oil without removing the pan.

I used jb Weld to glue my inserts in. I have not had a problem since. I used to get ice build up between the skid plate and belly pan in cold weather. I sealed up my hood to keep the snow out and that cut down on the ice.

I used jack nuts that eventually popped out. Once I covered them in epoxy and pushed them in they've stayed put so far. Can't think of an easier way to fix it without opening up the belly pan (unless it's oil change time...)
