Belly Buster Weights

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the belly busters on a stock 2012 pro 155? Or would you recommend another company for weights? Also does someone know what weights to run in blue river B.C.? I think its around 6500 feet.
Thanks

belly busters can work good BUT.....
if you wanna be happy spend the time/money to use some ones whole kit
someone who rides your zone they have spent lots of time perfecting them
you will save on belts and smiles down the line

try rooster built or mds or carls or slp all are good

good luck let it snow

Carl's...

I used a Carl's Cycle clutch kit for my wife's Pro RMK last year (Belly busters, spring, helix & delrin washers) and was very happy with the setup. Did one trip to Blue last year, but several to Golden, McBride, and Valemount (similar riding areas & snow). Hers was a 600 with 2.5" CE track, so I've no recommendations for your 800. This year it's a Carl's 660 running 62g bellybusters

Belly Busters runs the same weight at same elevation as the 10 series. 62 grams for 6000'-8000'

I was extremely happy with Carl's set up.
They do, however, go from the 10-62's for stock at 6-8K to 64g Belly Busters.
Great Kit

BB's are heel heavy which work real well with the Pro (Carl's kit as well for me). The downside is they are not variable/tuneable so you have to buy whole new weights for major elevation changes. I run 64's up to 8,000' and 62's above that with a Dynoport pipe. If you do a lot of traveling with your sled then I would get something like the SLP MTX adjustable weights.

Have FUN!

Blue river is 4000-6000. Go on google earth and it gives elevations where your pointer is.

For a stock motor, 66g is where you would want to be for 2-4k, with the stock primary spring. Aftermarket clutch kits could change that. The downside of BB's are if you ride major differences in elevation, you have to pop for multiple weight sets. Same thing if you add mods - e.g., if you run the RKT kit, with Kelsey's head, you need to go 2g heavier than stock, on average. I say this from experience, I ran BB's with Carl's kit on an 11 pro, with and without the RKT complete kit, and have multiple sets of BBs. BB's start profile is very similar to the series 10, but always check belt clearance for any shim changes, JIC. Always weigh the individual weights, too, they can vary 1/2 gram or more. Good luck.
