Hey guys like many of you im playin a bit with me sled in the summer... Mine is an 06 700. I am going to clean the exhaust bellows... as advised I will definately replace the gaskets. my question is regarding the bellows if I have the "orange" ones already and my sled has 1900 miles on it should I feel compelled to replace them or inspect them and reuse if they look fine. how many miles do they generally last? Thanks for all the help I appreciate it, this forum is great! Lastly, if i can ever help regarding painting of any sort let me know ive painted thousands of plastic parts.(automotive painter) would love to be able to pay back!

I did mine this summer as well. I didn't take a chance, I replaced them. They are cheap and I didn't want to take the chance that there maybe a small crack/hole in them that would affect performance. I have 3200 miles on my sled and I'm assuming that mine were original. They were hard to peel off, which was my 1st reason to want to replace.
They are $19 ea @ Babbits.

Replace em now and ride it !!! Keep old ones if good as spares just in case you need one or your buddy does and dealer is closed.

Also, Do NOT take the nut off with just a wrench... you need to heat it with a torch to release the red locktite... you can break the threads off otherwise.

Clean and re-locktite with red.

Clean the valves and the housing well.... Clean out the hose to the solenoid too.
