Beer Bottle Crossing near Cascade

Rumor is The forest circus wants to close the road near cascade near "beer bottle crossing."

They want to turn it into a narrow trail.

Anyone know anything about it?

I was a lot more involved in the trails last near near McCall, but isn't there a groomed trail through beer bottle crossing?????

Do we want to keep the road open???

Does anyone know anything about where that road goes, and if we care or not????

I need info fast please.

Thanks

Ohhhh look at mapboy showing off his skillz! All that college and that is what we get...GOOGLE EARTH? Come on man I need topo overlayed..and put in some dang markers so's I know where I'm at!

Looks to me like they are going after limiting use by single track status. Keeps the cars, jeeps, atv's, and UTV's off and releases the USFS from maintanance liability. We have millions of miles of roads under the US Forest Service management that need maintainance, repair, and service. Is this the new management plan to handle that? Oh YIKES...that is far more scary then anything the extreme green can get accomplished.
