Snowbigdeal.com is who I recommend for new. I wouldn't buy a used beacon on the internet. Locally, yes, if I had another beacon to test it with.

I got mine from http://www.snowbigdeal.com/. They are having a sale right now...buy a beacon and get a free shovel or probe.

If that is out of your price range look in the snowest classifieds.
