I was riding at brohme today, and it was an amazing ride. Until we returned to the truck to find a window smashed out and the compartments riffled through. We hid everything we could.

They left my superclamps, ipod, oakley sunglasses etc. They took my friends pants, shirt, jacket, wallet and keys.

Best part talked to the cops, and they have a pretty good idea who the likely people are. Apparently they notice a rise in crime when these individuals are released from prison. WTF!!!!!

That sucks, where were you parked?
I was there yesterday aswell, I parked 100 yards off the highway on the left there.

That's ****ty, I had a jerry can stolen last season never heard of anyone breaking in though. My fuel was just taken from under the deck.

Sorry to hear it.

keep an eye out for a late 90s / early 2000s short cab F150 (burgandy??) with 3 sketchy looking fellas

they've been seen cruising brohm and tricouni .. I saw them once but didn't take down the plate..

That sucks!
Idea for the gas thief. Fill a dummy gas can full of water and a small amount of gas. (keep it from freezing).

I have to ask my friend what we did. I know we put 1 gallon of cheap gas and then water and maybe a cup of antifreeze. It smelt like gas and when we returned 6 hours later it was empty.
Our problem was open pick-up bed and would just cary extra gas to top off. Parking lot thieves would fill up there cars. Never had a problem again.

Be fun to sit in a blind, or in a vehicle that is baited (tinted windows) and wait...who's gonna notice missing thieves???
Gas can with about a gallon of water would be good, easy to catch them...

Heck thieves will take anything they can get. Gas is worth something at 3.50 to 4.00 a gallon x 4 or 5 gallons.
I have also gotten my little aluminum tie down blocks stolen from my open place trailer, that blows.

Just a spoon full of sugar to help the thieves go down

We had a problem with a neighbour kid stealing gas from our tanks regularly

My dad put a bag of sugar in the tidy tank and it was only a few days later that the kid's car was up on blocks with a blown motor.

Seams sugar either plugs jets or carbons up motor, either way no more theft for a while!

I hate thieves and hearing about people getting ripped off, nothing would piss me off more than getting back to the truck and finding it broken into. Glad to hear the cops have a bead on it and might actually try to do something about it. It would be a nice change for them from busting locals having a quiet beer at the lake or slow-rolling uphill stop signs in subdivisions in the snow...

its easier to catch you slow rolling having a beer...

Came back to the parking lot at Telkwa range yesterday and two real beauties were in their truck puffing on a crack pipe. They didn't skip a beat when we showed up. My truck was not broken into but it's the first thing I checked when I saw those two clowns hanging around.
