BDX's Newest Belt Remover/Deflection Adjuster

Just got the new style adjuster from BDX and am trying to figure out the purpose of the free-wheeling plastic cup. And for that matter, what's the purpose of the external threads inside the cup?

that is the belt removal tool, those threads screw into the deflection adjuster thing, its a 2 part system

it only works w/ an aftermarket deflection adjuster.like BDX and others sell.
great tool, and makes swapping belts fast

How much deflection should be in the belt? I have the adjuster just not sure where to run the belt.

get it tight where the belt will squeal at idle, and back off until it stops.
