Anyone running these on there stock m8? Looks like a nice way to get rid of a bunch of junk under the hood.

They are nice and clean, but you will lose bottom end power and will have to clutch a bit differently to get rid of the bog.

I wouldn't recommend them. I've been using them on my M-1000 and it makes the sled quite a bit more thirsty. Even with the adjustments of my power commander it seems a bit sluggish on the bottem. runs real strong mid and top, but not the bottom. I'm putting the power valves back in this week, done messing around with the delete option. Just my .02

I am a big supporter of BDX but I do had them in my 1200 and it was to sluggish on the bottom end and i ended up going through way to much fuel.:( So power valves went back in.

Re: STM valves...

Supreme Tool and Machine makes a set of exhaust valves that are opened by exhaust pressure, and closed under spring tension. Same principle (and some of the same parts) that were used on Rotax engines until 2007. Thet are simple in design and operation, no cables, and you lose a bit of weight. I have a set on my M1000 and on my wife's M8 - would never go back to the OEM system.

What does a set of stm,s run? Thanks for the info thats about what bdx told me,best to run a box.

I have them On my m1000 and I like them! The bottom end is a little slugish but the mid range power makes up for it. It does sip a little more fuel though
