bdx lite drive

just wanted to get some reviews from those of you that have swapped to a bdx, i am running a 07 tm8 rg and last year went through two boxes. i have heard that going to a bdx is the way to go but ive also heard that i will end up with the same problems, if any of you have had experience with this i would love to know what you have found. thanks in advance

this question has been asked several times....do a search;)

IMO, its best to remove/inspect/clean every 400 miles or less....and have a planet get on hand, only $190 from BDX, and get a new $10 bearing while you're at it...this bearing is too hard to not damage during removal

I got a BDX DD Lite at the same time my 07 M8 got a turbo . I put 800 miles on it last season at 12 lbs and did not have any problems. The cool part was dumping the 11-12 lbs of dead weight that is reverse .

I love the dipstick , it is so nice to be able check the oil level before every ride. I am very happy with mine.

The weight loss was huge , it just feels really light now. To be honest i never did use the reverse more than a few times , it always scared me . I know a guy who works for a dealer , and he told me how many he had changed.

He said it was junk and to take it out and sell it before it was worth zero.
