BDX inline Idler wheel kit! JUNK!!

Extremely pissed off not even 100 miles since I installed and it snapped into 3 pieces right where its machined down to fit the bogie wheels on both sides. Not to impressed considering its supposed to out perform my stock shaft which I never had a problem with

Had to send it in. I already told them I dont want anything to do with another one. Its a horrible design not to mention how much of a pain it is to get it out when the bolt is bent over 2 inches

how long ago did you buy it?

Were they white or black wheels?

btw, I have thousands of miles on that kit & they spin like new.

had the same issue with that kit, less than 300 miles and the wheels peeled, bent the bolts, no fun at all.

I just installed one of these. You are saying that the aluminum shaft itself is failing? Breaking, bending, what? Now I am a bit concerned. Please let me know exactly what you are experiencing so I know what to watch for.

The wheels are white. The shaft is is failing right where the smaller diameter of the shaft meets the larger center part. They machined the outsides of the shaft on the outside to fit the small bearing of the wheel. Bent the bolt what a pain in the *** to get out after the bolt is bent. Over all I just think its a bad design. Its a great concept but they need to keep that shaft the larger diameter all the way through.

Did you hit something? I have 2 of these kits on 2 different turbo m1s with 174s and have over 500 miles on the one and have hit lots of hard bumps and the occasional rock and had no problem yet. My stock shaft was a little bent when I took it out.

So the wheels didn't fail, you hit something & aren't happy that it bent?

Have you seen what happens with the stock inner wheels when you hit something? They bend the rails outwards, destroying the rails...both of them.
We don't blame that on the wheels, we blame it on the rock.

How is this different, I don't get it?

Now the guys who have wheels that have failed, I can understand.

I never once hit anything I barley got down the trail before I could get off trail. The shaft is half the size of stock on the outsides and is a complelty softer metal.

So if you didn't hit anything how did it bend?

I slam into SH** every day here in CO with the horrid snowpack we have this year, and I drop everything in sight, as also does my wife. We've never seen one bend in the years we've been running these, I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that they just bent going down the trail.
