Have I just had to many beers or what. I was going to install the adapter and fuel gauge to my 09 m1000 but the fitting/hose barb (which I replaced with brass instead of plastic) looks way to small. Are my eyes crossed or what? I ran a 3/8 NC thread chaser through the adapter because I screwed up the plastic one supplied just finger tightening, couldn't believe all the metal shavings coming out of this thing, glad I did it.
Can someone tell me they've installed the parts supplied and were good, just doesn't look right...thanx
