does anyone have the bd turbo on the new pros, and are they evan running good. i call bd up and they say they are running great. i got like 4 sec of lag before the turbo kits, just wondering if any one got them running

There is a couple threads on the first page covering this already..

I agree with Turbo Pro. I was thinking of starting another new thread as well so please guys, I would like to hear as of today how your kits are running. If your one of those that have been having trouble and have gotten it all cleared up I would like to hear the story.
If your one of the guys that haven't and its still running like crap, I would like to hear that story. Some specific questions.
1) how does the bottom end work, is there much lag???
2) how about the det sensor, how often are you bouncing off of it??
3) the coughing and sputtering, is it clearing up??
No need to argue about whether the kits work or not, everyone has an opinion. Maybe just some facts about how yours is running good or bad as of today. Thanks!!

They got some new numbers and stuff going on most of them that are tuned right are running awesome!!!!!

Mine works great but have only run it at low altitude 1800-2400 ft. 6-7lb boost. No det light what so ever but I do run 80% av. My number are alot leaner than the starting numbers as mine was way rich with them. Absolutely no bog at all. I did get it to bog a few times after breaking trail for 4-5 miles in real fluff snow but once I knocked the snow from the screemn it was all good again. AFR runs 11.8-12.0 at WOT. It will start to miss when it gets down to 11.0.

psih 37 38 41
clutching 165-270 pri
sec straight 50

8150 wot rpm

Just a note at only 7 lbs I am seeing over 220 Deg int air temp. Looks like an intercooler will be a must for higher boost numbers. I got a bud who runs a turbo Cat at 14lb min with no intercooler. He couldn't get it to stop detonating. Weird eh!

Are you sure you have a turbo on it.

At your elevation, and those boost numbers only pulling 68 grams. That thing cant be any better than a stocker.

Should be pulling at least 74 grams. Something is way wrong there dude, I would be checking some hose clamps.

Maybe the turbo kit is not that effiecient?

My last dragon I had with similar clutch kit, would pull 76 grams at 1800ft at 7 psi of boost.

It is all in the spring and the helix dude. With the stock pri spring and factory helix I would be in the 80 gram range but the bottom end and coming out of the hole is not as good and the engagement gets really low. Trust me, it hauls donkey. My 700 dragon with BD race gas at 10 lbs was about the same.

DragonMan (did you try the new numbers I have you for the box with the new setting in the super tunner mode?? if so how did it work??)
