I have a brand new bd non-innercooled pump gas kit installed on a 07 m8. I ride at elevations between 1300 to 3000 feet. I do have the low boost actuator (4lbs). I am running a turbo smart manual boost controller to turn my boost up. Currently I am seeing boost #'s from around 5.2 to 6.3 the manual boost controller seems to be a little inaccurate which is what I expected. I am running a 50/50 mix with 93 pump and sunoco 112. My duty cycle is about 96% when the boost actually hits 6lbs (most of the time the boost only hits mid 5's).
My question is is it safe to run the duty cycle that high as long as I dont hit 99%? I ride mostly trees so i am constantly on and off the throttle.
Thanks for the help
