BCA 30

Does the BCA 30 pack have a seperate shovel pocket or is it one big pocket like on the 18?
It makes it a lot more user friendly if it has a seperate pocket for the shovel/ handle/ probes so you dont have to open up all your extra packed stuff every time you need a shovel.

Separate pocket on the front.
Two side pockets--one for probe, one for shovel handle.

Pretty well thought out. Lots more storage options than 18.

I have 30, GF has 18.

Thank you, I thought the 30 looked much more thought out but dont have a place to go look at one close. The 18 from the video didnt seem very user friendly everything in one main pocket so everytime you needed anything besides probes and shovel handle you had to open 1 zipper and everything was exposed. I'm used to having several compartments and can organize things per pocket or type of use, and shovel easily accesible without opening up the rest of my pack, that is important to me.

The BCA 32 is the new model. The 22 throttle is really the perfect pack for the majority of snowmobilers as the 32 is quite large. The throttle 22 has the seperate pockets for the shovel and probe and right strap grab . If anybody is interested in any of the BCA products, beacons, avy packs, shovels, etc I have them available for a substantial discount under MSRP.
