What is the preferred battery? I was looking at earthx etz5 or antigravity ag801. It's in a 20kx450. Thanks

I’ve tried lots, last few years I’ve been using a Shorai LFX series battery, works awesome. It’s a lithium iron battery, cranks over in -20 just like it’s summer. I had the anti gravity battery like above but did not have good luck with it, who knows why, but this Shorai has been great, leave it in all year (switch bike back and forth each season still).

I have been running the anti gravity, as well, with no issues. I did however recently hear that Li batteries can wreak havoc with electricals such as stator and VR. My source has seen this first hand with ATVs. I have also heard this to be an issue with newer Harleys. Has anyone experienced an Li battery causing issues on their sled?

I took m5’s advice and ditched the li ion battery in favor of running old school lead acid. Weighs a bit more but offset by not needing to pack a jump pack. Ha.
I had to do a slight modification to my battery box and seat on my 23 YZ. I think the new school batteries are sweet but seems not worth messing around on cold days,
