What barties is everyone getting and how long do they usually last? Also what do you guys do with them in the down time and off season?

Get a Ballistic Lithium battery. 3 year warranty. Take it out in the summer and charge it and put it away. They rock!

^^^ what Racin Station said. I'm on my second season with a Ballistic battery in my M1100T. Left in sled over summer, kept the time on the clock and still fired up this fall.

I kept my battery in all summer. Put the sled in the garage unplugged the battery to do some stuff. When I plugged it back in it cranked slow and my charger said it only had 10% charge. For some reason I can't keep a battery in my 4 wheeler either.
Best to keep them in a battery tender-after 50% discharge it's tough to get them back to 100%

Small and very effective, and wont over charge...
