Fella's, I bought my wife E-Start for her PRO back in November, and received very quickly, but the battery is still on Back Order.

Can anyone give me the battery case size and specifications so I can source my own? There is usually a size code somewhere on the battery and current ratings on the top as well.

I use the battery out of a yamaha wr450 its a size 7 the polaris battery is like a size 12 really heavy. yuasa btw

MY DEALER GAVE ME A MOTOSPORT SEALED BATTERY FROM AMERICAN HONDA
# GTX14-BS

My bad ur correct standard is a size 14, 12 came stock in my apex

Look for a YTZ7S for light wt, or a YTZ10S for reliability.

Yamaha guys been using the 2 for many years with success. I'd assume it'd work fine for stock compression 2 strokes.

Thanks guys, irony of all irony, when I checked my V-Mail after posting this, the dealer called and said it was in:D

My wife has her eyes set on the PRO perhaps the 2012 or the 2013 at the latest. She can start her current 2008 700RMK but it takes quite a pull for her and can wear her down. How much weight does the electric start add to the PRO sled?

The battery is probably 11-12 lbs. Purely guessing, but add probably another 4-5 for the starter and brackets. You're looking at roughly 20 lbs. to add electric start. Good thing the Pro starts out light!
