Lets see where you mounted your batteries and inverters. I just purchased a 1000w inverter and it looks like I'm going to have to add another 12v battery to get to the 150ah in order to run it. So I would like to see where people are putting there batteries. 1 is no problem, 2 needs some creativity

You should have no problem running that inverter off of one battery. Two batteries will just make what you are running run longer.
Where are you mounting the batteries, inside or outside? If you want to stack them I may have an idea for you.

If its just 1 I can mount on the outside behind the jack. 2 would have to be inside. I want them off the floor as I need all the floor space when I occasionally haul 3 sleds

charmac has an option for the in-floor battery box. depending on your fabrication capabilities i would look into that option. IMO putting them up high in cabinets is not a good idea for many reasons

My fab skills are pretty good. Anybody have a photo? No pics on the charmac site

i dont have my trailer yet. next time im around my buddies i'll snap a couple for you, but it may be a week or so

That's nice, any idea on cost thru charmac? Also, fabbing that up can't be too tough. Just the lid. Is the battery box under the trailer solid or open? I can't find info on charmac website. Only that is an option

I think it was 350 for the double battery box. IMO worth it even thought I work at a metal fab shop I don't think it would be worth the time. It's a completely sealed box on the bottom. Not sure of its framed in or just attached to the flooring

Anybody try welding a tray to the frame and then mounting battery in that tray?
