Battery image flashing in gauge

I have a battery light that appears once in a while on my gauge and then if it goes on too long it will stay on until after a long period of not running engine then it seems to reset itself for a while until it starts coming back periodically. The only things i have added is an oil pump for the turbo and a AFR gauge. I was thinking of removing one of the bulbs on my head lights will this help with the power draw on the system. Will that allow for some more voltage so I'm not maxing on the system?

Mine was doing the same thing. It was my voltage regulator

When this happened to me it was my fuel pump. I was running 100LL. I added some oil to my gas tank. The problem almost instantly went away. Nothing else changed. I still ended up changing the pump when I got home, but I rode 3 days on that pump. I found this fix from searching on here.

X2 on the voltage regulator. You could test your stator first but my money would be on the voltage regulator. If you have a nice friend with the same sled it's only two bolts to try his voltage regulator.

Happened to me to. Came on mostly on the trail, and got rid of it by doing some quick wot pulls. After a while it got worse, and ended up unpluging my my A/F gauge.
Afterwards i changed the regulator and connected the A/F gauge again. Worked god ever since.

Wont help disconnecting one of the bulbs i believe. The headlight runs on AC power, while the gauges and oil pump run on DC.
