Basic Maintenance on 05 M7?

replace your throttle cable every 3000 miles. Mine broke at 3000 and 6000 almost exactly. I now have over 8000 miles on an 06 M7 with very few issues. These things are very good for towing dead xp's home.

No oil is EZ.pull the drain inside the tunnel and fill it back up.Make sure you only put the correct amount in it.I have heard they puke out if ya put to much in it.
Check the clutches,the rollers in the spider(pri) can go bad if not cleaned.
Oh and make sure you ride the wheels off it .....they seem to like it!

Wow !they broke have not heard of that, I'll have to take alook.8000 miles that's awesome is that on original pistons,just curious..:beer;

new rings at 6000 miles, motor was opened up to do new crank seals on warrenty so they threw the rings in at the same time. Probably should have had em throw pistons in but so far so good...

i just picked up an 05 m7 just a couple weeks ago, and am taking it to the cat dealer for them to check it over and grease everything aswell as change the dd oil. i saw a wright up on how to change the dd oil yourself and i decided it wasn't for me just because i know so little about sleds the fact that i don't even know how to change a belt was a pretty subtle indication that i shouldn't mess around.

Check the wheels and bearings in the skid if it hasn't been maintained. Cleaning the clutches is important as well.
