barkbuster front end

i was looking into getting a front end kit. the barkbuster caught my eye because of the improved turning radius. anyone have input on what they like and what to stay away from??

Not bashing the barkbuster, but does anyone really care about turning radius on a mountain sled? It certainly doesn't help when climbing.

Makes the long tracks turn somewhat like a short track so ya it helps a bunch. Almost like a stock Nytro VS a Dragon when turning the Nytro will turn allot sharper and is real nice when you are in the trees.

I got one on my apex. It works great and Allen has some of the best customer service around.

If you bang trees, and have a longer track..definately see it helping. Even more so in any setup snow..

I'll know more once I get a ride on it I spose!

i heard they had bushing problems on some of the earlier models. has anybody had problems or are they all fixed?

I have mine on, and love it!!!! no issues, and besides, if there are some issues, Allen is the kind of guy that will MORE than take care of the problem...

as others have said, the turning is deinifelty a benefit...for everything from tree riding to tight turns while just turning sled around to addressing some of the turning issues that Nytro's had with kind of a twitchiness on trail...(not that I ride trail much, but is part of what happens to get to the fun stuff...)

all around, I did it for weight, but after having it for several hundred miles on the snow last year, I would buy it again just for the better all around handling...

Great product Timbersled totally stands behind their product.
The kit makes the front end lighter and the sled react better for all riding.
without the sway bar a little sketchy on the trial but nimble.
Just installed a new kit and great directions.
