Hawaii is Christmas....Have been to Hawaii many times. and looking for someplace in the Fall!
Go to the Dominican! They have presidente beer there and it is super good. Try and find it in bottles cause the cleanlyness of a third world beer tap & line leaves very little for the imagination of how often they clean them!
I went in Nov weather, water, people, service, everything was awesome would go again in a heartbeat.
Going at the end of the month, I'll let you know. All I know it's got to be warmer than here.
barbados Is really nice as are many places in the carribean... My favorite so far has been the dominican republic.. Not as crowded with tourists as other islands like barbados.. WE stayed at MAXIM Bungalows which is top notch and on an amazing beach. There is also a lolt to do on the island.. But honestly you cant go wrong with most of the islands in the carribean. EXCEPT do not go to Jamaica!!

X10 on Rasps comment for Jamaica. That place is just plain scary. Went there 1 yr ago and was scared to take my eyes off the wife and kids. CRAZY MO-FO'S around there.
The rest of the Carib is awesome, ie. Aruba (iffy further inland), St. Martin, St. Thomas, Grand Cayman's, Cozumel (Yes it is Mex, but a nice place).

Forgot to add Haiti to the NO GO list. That was even worse than Jamaica. You could hear guns shooting even from the ship

One guy bought a bag of weed and when he went to get back on the boat they pulled him out of the group and found his stash. They took his weed and let him back on the boat no probs, but I wonder who was smokin it later? Or how many times it had been sold.

I mean when you walk through the markets in most 3rd world countries they hound you to death to buy their stuff, but in jamaica they take it to the extreme.. I never have felt like someone was going to go to extreme measures to get your money like I did there.. It was scary I must say.
