Bar Risers setup?

I a 6'6 285lb guy im running stock setup on the post and riser, I do have RSI bars (Love them) and I was wondering what you guys have done to get higher im thinking about a 9 or 10 inch block and if you need brake lines and a throtle cable. If you guy have any ideas to get it done cheep that would be great thanks

Kerb

o at haydays a vender said that NO ONE makes a 10 inch block then made fun of me i kinda wanted to punch him in the face but im not a violent kinda guy.

thanks!!

I ran 13" risers on my 04 Rev, my 05 RT, and my 07 Rev with no problems. A little creative re-routing and she's all good. These are 1 off customs from "Digginsweatinswearin" (Mahler) on the forums here. 12 inchers are available from several guys including Mahler, Smitty's Custom, and Advantech Perf.

Here's the 07....note where the throttle cable runs....if you go high, you'll have to move it to the front of the steering post from the rear.

I run Powermadd 6" Risers and ProTaper Patrana ATV Bend bars (have about 3.5" in them - similar to the RSI backcountry bars)
also have the PowerMadd adaptors, to fit the FAT BAR = so I run about 10" total
no extensions needed - I am also 6'1" and this fits me great

ran a similar height last year, w a stock XP 8" riser and ProTaper Pastrana bars w 2" rise in them

what do you do for hand warmers on them pro taper bars? do you have to use aftermarket ones or peel the ones off of some stock bars?

last year I ordered OEM Ski Doo grips - never again, as they are $50 PER GRIP and a PITA to get on (even w c.air)
this year I smartened up and bought RSI stuff
used their Hi Temp grips, bar ends, and grips - it was only $100 for all of this

havent tested them out yet, but 99% of dudes who use RSI gear swear by it

No. Not on any of them.

Were did you have to do the rerouting? I just bought a 06 RT and I measured the riser it's 7", the bars look stock. I see a bit of slack, but not a chance of getting another 3", would really like 12" or so if I can get by without buying anything else. I can't really see were I can do anything with the brake line especially.

if not already done, re-route your brake line BEHIND your recoil handle
there is 2 bolts that hold the plastic peice that the handle sits in
move the brake line behind that (by your oil tank) and straight up the front of your bars
you can definatly fit up to 10", 12" now I am not 100% sure
