any one think the bar heaters are not warm enough<< I had RSI high power heaters on mydragon and they will burn your hand I was thinking of doin thos again unless there is something wrong with my heaters now,

i thought the ones on there now were hot... they make my hands sweat if i have them on high... they can def make my hands steam, maybe something is wrong with yours?

thats what I was wondering on high the are like low on other sleds But dont know what would be wrong?? is there a resistance value??

Im sure there is, but I have no idea what it would be. maybe someone will chime in with some better info than what I have right now... anyone?

riding an Apex & a Nytro the last few years.....these PRO bars burn my hands off compared to the Yamaha's,lol

mine are none too hot also. i've found if you spray a little foam insulation in the end of each side of your bars they will be 3-4 times as hot... or ride harder which ever works for ya;)

Do you have any protection on your hands like windshield wings or even handguards? I have found that without the hood or windshield protection like most of the newer machines suffer from, the hands get cold because the air takes away the heat faster than the bar heaters can add it in.

The RSI heaters are crazy good... that is a good solution. Or protect your hands some way with guards or windshield wings.

OHM specs for the grips

Unplug at/near the heaters and connect ohm meter to the pigtails

13 OHMS & 21 OHMS

is what you're looking for.

Ditto on the spray foam inside the bars, just remember to install the hooks BEFORE the stuff cures
