Banks exhauast on an LMM

I have had Banks on my V-10 Ford and liked it. I am concerned with the regen and the temps and what Banks has to say about the exhaust temps. I am trying to find people that have Banks on there LMM's to get there feed back.

Banks is full of sh!t. The duramax will only regen the DPF when your going fast enough (like over 30mph or something) so the heat given off is not an issue. If they spent as much on research as they do on advertising and attack adds they might have something to offer.

I used to run a MBRP DPF back and it was a nice settup. Now i'm running a full AFE strait pipe and its a great system too. Either one is a great replacement for the chicken cannon they put on from factory.

BTW I have a MBRP DPF-back strait pipe for sale.

Never heard of a certain mile per hour limit triggering regen cycles before.......

I think that the Ford 6.4 has a minimum speed built in the I dont think that the Duramax does. I know that I have seen higher rpms at a stop light during the regen process.

I went with MBRP also. Very easy to install. Holding up very well on a 05 Powerstroke.
