Bald Mtn - FR1701

Anyone know what the face of Bald Mtn off FR1701 might look like on Saturday? Any possiblity of making it to the jack?

I heard that Spring Cr. has a lot of gravel down low. Solid ice in other areas.

KK is correct about lower spring creek road. No problems with snow at Bald, Devils Slide and the upper Spring Creek road. I own a cabin near Whistles (WJ's) and that whole area needs new snow. The back side of Little Bald Mtn was great riding on Sunday.

Agreed, but I wouldn't say "great riding". There was about 6" on top of asphalt. We need a serious dump badly. Big bald side is hard as a rock too and the depth is about a third of what it should be, but it's ridable.

Oh let me rephrase, Sunday's riding was great weather wise compared to Saturdays fogged in conditions at the top of manastash near funny rocks/ moon rocks.

Huge weather front suppose to come in friday. If true it could be the biggest dump in one day this year. Fingers crossed
