No visibility above 4500'. The orange sled is right beside hood hill, so is the little one on the hill. Don't know those guy's at the creek but you can see the owner of the orange sled is pissed that his buddy didn't stop that ghost riden sled. Boondocked the meadows all day, except to help that guy out of the creek hole. Snowed nonstop. Still better than staying home.

Yeah good ride but I was trying to break in my new sled and rode all day on less than a 1/4 tank, that boondocking does not use much fuel.

Passed you guys coming off the hill around noon. Not bad for Nov huh... Did the visibility get any better?

That type of snow is an excellent base builder. Hopefully all the heavy wet stuff will fill in all the holes:beer; On a side note it did help me decide what i want for christmas

If its the one just past the last campground as you head toward the meadows up Schribers. Its always been there just usually a lot more snow.

I think your thinking of the big bridge thats by the bathrooms on the main trail to shriebers. It's not that one.

When you arrive to where the meadows start to open up, you would make a hard left and go back in the trees "downhill" kindof. Thats where we saw it.

MAybe thats the back way to get to blue lake trail???? Kmon baker people chime in! :D

I know just about every inch of that mountain and I have never come across that bridge. It is not the way into blue lake though I am sure of that. Some of the bridges up there they take out in the winter and put them back in the summer. But maybe since they have no money they are just leaving them.

Just got home from baker today, visibility was poor , I mean super poor . Made it to the horse corral and boondocked in the trees all day in the pouring rain. Had some pretty good wipeouts too! There is about a 6 ft base at the horse corral! crazy for this time of the year! Visibilty was good in the trees but as soon as you got up higher than 4500 I caught myself a couple times so snowblind I thought I moving but was dead stopped lol

I think you guys may be referring to the footbridge that is behind the bathrooms. When coming down the mountain into the meadows, the tracks split. One goes out the regular way over the big bridge, and the other cuts left and hits the walking bridge. The snow is the same height as the railing which makes for an interesting crossing on a sled. Easily done though.
