Baker snow bridge washed out

Just saw this on the NWGC page

"As of yesterday there is no ice bridge at Mount Baker. The rains last weekend really did a toll on the bridge. Randy (the groomer)did try to fix it yesterday, but said there is about a 15 foot wide hole where the bridge should be. Be safe!"

Thanks for the efforts - I guess all those pineapples set us back a bit.

I was hoping for some pics from today. I heard that some guys shoveled in a narrow bridge and could get across on it. Today would have been the day for sure!

Good times Carl- Nice meeting you guys. A couple zip ties and his hood will be good as new. I'm gonna see if I can get some decent shots of this camera from today. Weather came in pretty hard after you guys left.

Good riding yesterday, lots of fresh pow, but snowing hard. We ran into alot of unstable snow conditions up higher. All that wind we have been having left some slab avy conditions. I did a stupid thing , left my helmet home. So I ended up riding with hat a goggles all day. I felt like I went to town and forgot to put my pants on, that wont happen again.

Yeah... Hate that. I got to a club ride one day and forgot my klim gear. Road around in fleece pants and a street coat. Never again!
